The Flooring Professionals LLC is a veteran-owned flooring company founded by Eric Haug—a man who understands the value of hard work, precision, and doing the job right the first time. Eric and his dedicated team of flooring contractors don’t just install floors—they bring spaces to life. Their passion for beautiful, high-quality flooring is matched only by their commitment to customer satisfaction. For them, the job isn’t done until you’re thrilled with the result. Clear communication, expert craftsmanship, and premium materials are the foundation of everything they do.

Eric’s journey started on an alfalfa farm in Montana, where he learned grit and discipline working alongside his father. A state champion wrestler, he went on to graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served with distinction in Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond. After purchasing his first home near Fort Bragg, Eric taught himself how to retile and install hardwood floors—eventually re-flooring the entire house. What began as a necessity quickly turned into a passion.

Today, Eric is trained and certified by the National Wood Flooring Association and leads one of the most capable flooring teams in the region. He’s handpicked a crew of industry veterans—each with decades of experience—ensuring that every project is handled by true professionals.

Eric lives in Cary, NC with his wife and their seven children—the true joys of his life. They are proud members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Raleigh.
